Task
Since you are here, that means your child has been given a letter to search for already! Keep in mind that you are working as a group with another parent/child pair. Figure out what works best for the members of your group to accomplish this task together. Some ideas include:
End Product: At the end of your Webquest, your group (you, your child, classmate, & their parent) will have a display of words and pictures that start with the letter/sound assigned to your child. The product may be submitted via email or print.
Suggestions:
You may wish to print pictures/words out to combine or put them into some sort of document (Word, Publisher, etc.). The end products will be displayed in the classroom to help children continue on their journey of learning about letters and the sounds they make!
- Meeting at the library or other public place to work together
- Meeting at the home of a group member
- Sharing and blending information online

- A minimum of 6 (six) pictures/words (any combination) for the assigned letter
- Help children choose pictures/words that are meaningful to them (ex. dog for D because dog is my favorite animal, instead of dome which has no meaning to most four year olds)
- All group members play a part in choosing the pictures/words, and creating the end product
